No, URBÓ is shelf stable and therefore our drinks do NOT require refrigeration. But like most drinks, we recommend drinking them chilled for the best taste!

Our process is very simple. We use fresh whole milk straight from the farm (used within 5 hours of milking) adding an enzyme to breakdown the natural lactose sugars. We then blend our natural ingredients into the milk, can it, and retort it. It is this retort process that makes the cans shelf stable.

As vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption of calcium, it is recognised that vitamin D can be a beneficial addition to milk. One serving of URBÓ provides 100% of your recommended daily intake of vitamin D.

Because of the retort process that URBÓ undergoes it has a good shelf life. The product should be consumed before the use by date and once opened should be kept refrigerated and consumed within 3 days.
